AdvoCare Reviews – What Is AdvoCare?
AdvoCare was founded by Charles E. Ragus in 1993. They are a health and wellness company that concentrates on offering their high-performance nutritional products through team of people called distributors/reps.
They are a direct sales business and are an official member of the DSA (direct selling association). They sponsor hundreds of professional athletes, including NFL quarterback Drew Brees from the New Orleans Saints, who is considered their nationwide spokesperson.
Richard Wright is currently the CEO and President of AdvoCare. Joining the company in May 2007, Richard brought a detailed background in direct sales to the business.
Prior to becoming CEO of AdvoCare Richard had built a large direct sales business with over 1,000 people in 37 states and 4 nations. He also co-founded a business in Louisiana and served on the workers for an U.S. Congressman.
AdvoCare Reviews – What Products To They Offer?
AdvoCare reviews can be found on many of the AdvoCare product lines. With an approximated 4,000 health and wellness businesses in the direct selling industry, it can be tough to contend and be successful unless you have a one-of-a-kind product or service to offer.
Thankfully for AdvoCare they have successfully tapped into the sporting activities and professional athletics sector where they get a significant amount of direct exposure and advertisement.
Currently, they offer 5 product lines that focus on weight, energy, performance, harmony, and skin treatment.
- AdvoCare’s TRIM Line
- AdvoCare’s ACTIVE Line
- AdvoCare’s WELL Line
- AdvoCare’s PERFORMANCE ELITE Line
Each of their product lines are under regular testing for many reasons. AdvoCare reviews revealed that the product line is part of the most comprehensive prohibited substance accreditation program for supplements through Informed Choices, which can have been a result of a lawsuit between AdvoCare and Olympic swimmer Jessica Hardy. The legal fight could have significant effects on business liability.– See even more at: http://nutrisuplaw.com/liability-supplements-hinge-athletes-lawsuit/#sthash.6FdBASzW.dpuf
AdvoCare Reviews – The Compensation Plan
In my AdvoCare reviews article I thoroughly break down the AdvoCare compensation plan for you. The compensation plan outlines four distinct forms of income paid to distributors for their work. Each is based on a different element of their business and requires a different kind of marketing success. Check out the AdvoCare Compensation Plan.
1. Retail Commission
Retail commission is the cash profit earned when a distributor buys product at the wholesale price and sells it at the retail price. AdvoCare distributors earn between 20 and 40 percent commission depending on the level of wholesale discount they receive.
When a distributor initially signs with AdvoCare they earn a limited 20 percent commission but that commission percentage increases as their personal sales volume or promotional level increases. The greatest percentage, 40 percent, is awarded to those at the Advisor level and above.
2. Wholesale Commission
When distributors reach the level of advisor they can also earn wholesale commission. This commission is earned on a leader’s personal orders and orders placed by wholesale customers. When a personally enrolled customer purchases items directly from the company the advisor earns a wholesale commission. If the purchaser has a 20 percent discount the advisor earns a 20 percent commission.
If the purchaser has a 30 percent discount the advisor earns a 10 percent commission. In short, every product ordered has a maximum 40 percent profit which is generated from the difference between true wholesale price and retail price. The profit is split between distributors according to their wholesale discount level and level of leadership.
3. Overrides
Every leader earns overrides, or commission percentages, on distributors that they have sponsored. AdvoCare training is essential to business success and it is a leader’s responsibility to provide their downline members with the information they need to gain rank. The network marketing plan pays between five and seven percent commission on group volume based on the depth of the team and the total group volume in sales.
4. Leadership Bonuses
Leadership bonuses are paid as team members are promoted through the levels of leadership. There are seven basic levels of leadership: Distributors, Advisors, Silver Leaders, Gold Leaders, Ruby Leaders, Emerald Leaders, and Diamond Leaders. The higher the level of leadership the deeper the generations of bonus pay and the higher the commission check received monthly.
The AdvoCare business structure is designed to pay more to those who have built and maintained a large team. AdvoCare news suggests that the average distributor only earns $685 in profits per year which does not offset the $500 in personal business volume they must have in place each month in order to get paid.
Advisors, which make up roughly 56 percent of the active distributors with the company, make $2,149 per year. Silver level leaders make an average of $12,000 annually. Gold leaders make an average of $40,000 annually. Emerald leaders generally make close to $185,000 each year and the top .13 percent of the company known as Diamond Leaders make in excess of $923,000 per year (Advocare, 2011).
AdvoCare Opportunity – Is Advocare A Scam or Legit Business?
So you may have been asking yourself that question. Is Advocare a legit business or is it a scam. Thousands of other people, just
like yourself, are looking to find out if the Advocare scam claims are true!
So let’s get this settled right off the bat… The AdvoCare scam is NOT true. AdvoCare is a legitimate business model and you can make money as a brand partner!
The reason why Advocare is being called a AdvoCare scam or AdvoCare pyramid scheme is because others did not have success, end up never doing anything as a distributor, and fail to build a profitable business. Like any business you start, it has risks.
However the good news is AdvoCare is a low-cost investment and if taken seriously, can be very profitable for you and your family to have a financially rewarding and secure future.
Another reason why you hear claims about a AdvoCare scam is that people start calling Advocare a pyramid scheme. What is a pyramid scheme exactly?
Well according to Wikipedia, a pyramid scheme is an unsustainable business model that involves promising participants payment or services, primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, rather than supplying any real investment or sale of products or services to the public.
So therefore Advocare disqualifies as a pyramid scheme because it DOES offer and sell real products and services to the market place, meaning the Advocare scam is not true and it’s a legit business!
